OUR PROGRAMS

Our medical clinic is located in Río Dulce, Izabal. We currently serve 13 villages along the river, providing free medical care to around 7000 patients annually. We provide each patient with a medical exam and the medications they need. For those needing additional care, such as labs, ultrasounds/CT scans, or surgeries, our ministry covers those costs as well through donations. 

We work with children from our local community, sharing a Bible story, playing games, and doing craft projects. Our Clinic is located in a community that has approximately 800 families. Some kids from neighboring villages also come to our Children's Club.

The main sport in Guatemala is soccer. Even the people in the villages along the river, everyone loves soccer. Currently, we are working with a group of about 30 youth and young adults. We are coaching them through the sport, but also sharing the Gospel and the love of God.

Through our girl's Bible study, our goal is to reach out to as many young girls and uplift them, sharing the Love of Jesus, giving them a safe space to do crafts, play games, and most importantly learn about the love of Jesus. 

The education system doesn't have the resources to have extra curricular activities, such as art. And most families don't have the means to have art supplies at home either. With this program, the local children get a chance to learn different art techniques and also a story from the Bible. 

Hygiene products are generally expensive in Guatemala. So, many children don't have access to these types of products. Most children learn to bathe in the river and use the same block of soap that is used to wash their clothes. This class teaches them different hygiene practices, the importance, and sends them home with the hygiene products, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

This program provides hygiene care packages and a baby blanket or prayer shawl for women at the hospital who have had a hysterectomy, a miscarriage, a still birth or death of an infant, or are dealing with infertility. Many of these women are expected to continue with life as if nothing happened. We hope these kits bring comfort to these women and families during these difficult times.
