Girl's Bible Study

A big issue for women and girls that live in villages is that they are forced to be submissive to the men of the house. Usually the man dictates what their role will be. For a lot of young girls, that means they have to stay home, do chores, and look after their siblings. Also, if the mother is able to work, this means the girls are to stay home and help instead of going to school. 

So through the Bible study, we want to teach girls and women that they are loved by God, that they are valued, intelligent, a daughter of the King, and that God has a calling on their lives. We have seen a big change in these girls. They started out very shy, but are starting to open up a lot more! They are sharing more about how hard it can be at home, especially those who have to work and are unable to go to school. Many struggle to read and write and are learning that through this program. We have seen a great improvement in many of the girls!
