We held 2 clinics with Carissa, seeing 6 villages total, including the 3 that we need to travel about an hour by boat to get to them. And even then, many walk for 3 hours one way to get to the clinic site. For the travel day, it was raining on the way and we weren't sure if we could get there. But thankfully, it let up and we had a beautiful day! 

We saw 129 patients over a span of 9 hours. Carissa rocked it! It touched my heart, seeing Carissa sitting on the floor at one point to get to the same level as a little girl to listen to her lungs. We were all so busy seeing, treating, and explaining meds to patients that we didn't get many pictures. So, you'll have to take our word for it! Our day started being dressed in trash bags to keep from getting drenched and ended with our hearts filled with joy and many, many patients happy and feeling blessed as well. 

Additional to the clinics, Carissa helped with the girl's Bible study program and the art program. It was wonderful to see her pouring her heart out to all these children.
